My husband and I usually pride ourselves in making lovely homemade neighbor gifts, like HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE.  However, some years are just busier than others, and I knew it had to be a store bought gift this year.  Or better yet – an online bought gift!

I’ve seen many versions of the “popcorn and redbox movie” night neighbor gift, and always felt it was such a practical and useful gift – which I’m hoping everyone will be happy to receive.  I decided all the free printables out there were a bit too colorful for me (I know – I’m boring), so I came up with my own saying and black and white version.  And for all you other color-o-phobic folks out there – I’ve got the FREE printable for you as well.

I love how I can use ribbon or string to add the bits of color of my choosing, and coordinate with the color of the popcorn bag.

Movie Night

Silent Night Movie Night

It prints on a standard 8.5 x 11 inch US paper.  Print on card-stock for a sturdier card.

Each printable comes with 4 tags to a page.  Each tag measures about 3 x 4.5 inches, when trimmed with a 1/8 inch white space border.

*This is for personal use only, and not to be sold or distributed in any way (except as gifts to your neighbors, of course).

Instructions for buying your REDBOX codes:

Go to redbox.com and scroll down to the very bottom and click “Redbox Gifts”.  There you will see the option to buy promo codes.  We bought ours in the bundle we needed and emailed all the codes to ourselves, then wrote them individually on each tag.

That’s it!!

  1. This is perfect! I’ve been looking for some that are in black and white so as not to use up too much color ink! (ink is so expensive) Thank you!

  2. WOW! I totally wish I would have seen this a few days back (but totally saving it for next year)! What a great idea!
