25 Classic Christmas Ideas and Inspiration

I never tire of seeing red and green for Christmas.  Sure, all of these different Christmas themes have been so fun to pursue, create and imagine.  But when it all comes down to it, a classic Christmas is made up of red, green, gingerbread, fudge, candy canes, cranberries, garland, lights and all the magic and wonder that accompany those elements.

Tradition trumps all, and these images will fill your Christmas spirit to the tippy top.

This wraps up my series of Christmas Themes and you can go HERE to see them all that I shared.  Then can I ask for a small Christmas gift from you to me??  I’d love love love to know which one was your favorite!  It’s the last bit of “research” that I would like to do ;).  Please share your thoughts in the comments below.

Thank you so very much for following me along and I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing Christmas celebrated in many ways!

And just recently, researching for this post inspired me to do a classic red and green Christmas tablescape, which I shared here.

  1. i wish i saw this christmas post earlier but will definitely keep it in mind for the next holiday season : )

  2. If I had all daughters I would gravitate toward the Pinkalicious theme. But with so many men in the house, here in Vermont we do a combination of Rustic, Plaid, and Classic.
Thanks so much for all your research and have a wonderful Christmas and a New Year filled with blessings. Love in Jesus, Suzanne

  3. All beautiful and inspiring pictures for decorating but I have to admit I’m more of the Classic theme when it comes to my stash of boxes that I use from one year to the next.
    Merry Christmas!
