I really really really enjoy doing subscription box reviews for you!
It’s probably more of a self indulgence thing for me and my kids, as they are ecstatic when the boxes come, and I particularly enjoy the creative photo moments. But many of you have told me how much you enjoy them too, so that is pretty sweet. And it makes my day when I hear you get to enjoy subscription boxes in your own home too!
It’s no secret around here that one of our favorites is from The Kiwi Crate. Their products are truly top notch, and I would recommend them to my sisters and dearest friends. Oh wait – I have 😉
Everything you need is always right there in that box, and the ingenuity of this last one we graciously received is completely brilliant!

The box we received this month had a fun Arcade type theme and was very hands on and inventive. The perfect type of activities for my super duper thinker 7 year old.
She first got to build a claw, which had very step-by-step, kid friendly instructions. What I love about The Kiwi Crate is they always define the type of parent involvement each activity will include. This one recommended high parent involvement, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I read her the instructions and corrected her if needed, and she viewed the pictures and put it all together. We had a lot of fun.
Then she got to make these super adorable pom pom friends, which she managed all on her own.
She named them Jiggle and Giggle. To stinkin’ cute!
This box seriously provided hours of entertainment for her.
And we haven’t even made it through all the fun activities in the book they provide!
But there have been plenty of sister wars going on 😉
If any of you parents out there need a little help for learning and entertainment this Summer, I think you’ll really be pleased with The Kiwi Crate.

And here are a couple more reviews I’ve done from The Kiwi Crate company, who offers age and special interest alternatives.
The Koala Crate is great for preschool and toddler age.
Another Kiwi Crate Review that proves it’s great for any age.
And The Doodle Crate for the crafty kids in your life (or you!)
