Sprinkles of Autumn make a gentle appearance in our home, even in the bathroom. Warmer tones, soft and plush textures, candlelight, and roses for good measure! Welcome to my Fall Home Tour, starting with the bathroom.
Welcome my friends, to my first Fall home tour post of the season! I’m thrilled to be joining some of my absolute favorite home decor bloggers for our Fall into Home Tour group, hosted by the sweet Rachel from Maison De Pax. Be sure to catch all the other cozy homes linked and shared at the bottom of my post.
If you happen to be hopping over from Janet’s place, at ShabbyFuFu, let’s all just take a moment to catch our breathe! I’m so very inspired by everything Janet does. I’ve had the chance to learn from her personally at Haven Conference, and I just soak up every beautiful image and word she says.

I really enjoy adding very subtle seasonal changes, even in the most unexpected rooms, such as a bathroom.
Ignoring a single space for too long can make it feel stale and boring to you and your family. It took me a total of 10 minutes to switch out some items in our bathroom, and I relished in the elaborate responses from my little girls who came home from school and somehow forgot how beautiful this bathroom was 😉
They were sure to remind me again!
And somehow, I had forgotten how nice it was to relax and rejuvenate with a bath and mommy alone time. I couldn’t resist after making it feel more cozy for the Fall time.
I’d like to share just 3 things you can quickly add to a bathroom space with the coming of any new season. I encourage you to give them a try and watch as your family responds to your simple changes. It can be so rewarding!
#1: Towels
How easy to switch out some textiles in your space! And for the Fall season, the cozier and plusher the better!
If you are low on budget, just consider buying one new hand towel and one new body towel, then mix them with ones you already have. If you keep them in your spaces temporarily, you can feel good about pulling them out again year after year.
I discovered this orange Turkish towel (which can double as a scarf or throw blanket) and the black and white plush Turkish hand towels from Olive and Linen. The blue damask-like towels I already had from Wayfair.
I’m slightly obsessed with Turkish towels and how luxurious they feel, but prices on them can sometimes be real heavy. Olive and Linen has a great selection, manageable prices, and great sales. I was so excited to have them send me some to style and share with you! Aren’t they so lovely!
#2: Hand Soaps
Basically 2 seconds of effort with big results!
Figure out your favorite smells of the season, and then find a hand soap to go with it!
Those smells will go straight to the memory part of your families brain, and the smells will make them reminisce for years to come!
I’m loving Mrs. Meyers Fall scents this year. I stocked up on some Apple Cider soaps, and they are absolutely divine! Grove Collaborative seems to always have the good smells first, so go grab some before they sell out!
#3: Fresh Flowers
Dig through your collection of thrifted vases (you have one of those, right?) and fill it with some flowers!
That simple change will even get the man of the house to notice!
Make this change really affordable by clipping from outside, or I like to visit my local floral shop and dig through their 50 cent a stem bucket. They are generally full and in bloom, but I actually let my roses wither and dry up right in my vases, and admire the beauty of each stage before I toss them.
That’s it! 3 simple changes with the linens, soaps, and flowers . . . and that bathroom space is good to go for the Fall!
Nothing earth shattering, I am fully aware. But I promise, these simple things will bring you joy!
Thank you so very much for visiting, and please take a look below for more lovely Fall home inspiration.

Way to be on top of things! It feels good to refresh the bathrooms every once in awhile 😉 . Take care my dear!
I love the copper details that you’ve added – great idea for accent in white bathroom. Your place looks amazing, thanks for sharing it with us.
Thank you so much! I’m not normally prone to adding copper, but I think I’ve found a new love. For now 😉
Oh my gosh, Cami! Seriously. I love this bathroom. Every single one of our bathrooms is stuck in the 90s! Lol. I cannot wait until we make them look more like yours! xo
The 90’s wasn’t so bad 😉 . I’m sure when you get around to them they will be lovely! Thanks for stopping by Shannon!
Thanks for remembering the bathroom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was just blessed with a remodeled bathroom! So it is my priority to keep it refreshed and to try to keep with the seasons. I burn a Yankee candle in my shower stall for fragrance . It is a safe place! It only takes 3 flowers to make a bouquet with some evergreens. You are so right about the effect. Don’t overlook the wildflowers on the sides of the road at this time of year.
PS Anyone with better, cheaper candle product? Please share!
What wonderful ideas and thoughts! Thank you! I never thought to burn the candle in the shower. I worry about safety too!
Cami,
I love all of the blush and copper touches, and the hint of black. 🙂 Thanks for joining the tour!
Thank you sweet Rachel! It was a wonderful tour to be a part of!
Thanks for a great reminder to remember the bathroom! I always do something at Christmas, but adding a couple of touches for fall is lovely. Heading out to grab some goodies now : )
Thanks for your sweet words! Fall touch in the bathroom certainly can’t hurt 😉 . Hope you found some good goodies!
