I do realize that it may be a bit overkill to match your child’s Easter basket to their shirt.
But the fact of the matter is, I had so much fabric left after sewing their baskets, I figured – WHY NOT?
And let me tell you, they looked as cute as can be during the egg hunts.
However, the smallest child was having a rather tough day.
Just see for yourself. That frown did not leave her face. The life of a 2 year old can be very difficult. But she still looked cute to me with her matchy matchy Easter baskey.
Here is the back view of the shirts. The more I look at them though, I think it would also make a great front to a shirt someday.
We wish you all a very Happy Easter! It’s one of my favorite holidays –
because it’s a great reminder of the sacrifice of our Savior, and the glorious message of His Resurrection.
The Bible Dictionary in the King James Version states “the Resurrection of Jesus is the most glorious of all messages to mankind.” How true that is! I believe because He was Resurrected, the sting of death was taken away, and we all will in turn be resurrected someday. To restore our bodies with our spirits again after death and therefor live for ETERNITY! Having had my father pass away in my youth, this message brings me great peace.
If you would only be a little nicer, the little one wouldn't be so sad! J/k, cute shirts!
I LOVE that bird cage fabric- what is it called and where did you get it? I NEED that fabric! Happy Easter to you and your family. Kat
Just adorable. Your Easter girls brought a smile to my face this morning-especially the sad little two year old.

Happy blessed Easter.
