30 Pants in 30 Days

Pant Project #22

To see #21, click here.

I couldn’t resist the urge to adorn this little one in patriotic red and blue for the 4th of July after seeing such cute fabric at Joann’s.

Let me explain the faux tab thing.

Those tabs don’t really unbutton to roll the cuff up or down, as you commonly see. With such little curiosity, those kind of pants never stay where I want them to anyway.

I simply sewed these flat front pants (click here for that tutorial) with a liner attached to each piece and then sewed the pants up. When it was all done, I rolled up the cuff where I wanted it and added the tabs. The button is purely for looks.

Pretty cute if I do say so myself.

Head.

Shoulders.

Knees and Toes.

Gotta keep her there somehow.
