Day 4!
December 4th:  Popcorn Popping on the Christmas Tree
The ribbon I wanted was too expensive.  Plus I thought the strings of popcorn more classic.  Goes well with “way back when” theme, I think.
It was a little harder to convince my husband that it would look good.  But turns out he actually loves it now that it’s up on the tree.  And if your questioning my style too, you’re are just going to have to wait until the end for me to prove to you that it works with what I am doing.

The kids had a blast stringing it, though they only lasted about a foot’s length.  Thank goodness my love was there to help me finish it.  However, I suggest if your going to ask your love for help, make sure they had plenty of sleep the night before.  Otherwise, they might get a little testy at the popcorn.
Trust me.

I would love to do this for my tree too but I know I wouldn't be albe to keep the dogs away from the tree long enough to enjoy the special looks it brings.

When I was little, we did this every year! I always loved the way it looks, though if I tried it now, I'm sure my little one would try to eat it right off the tree! Haha! Can't wait to see how it all comes together!

Cami, I love this Christmas countdown! Although, I would have eaten all the popcorn before it even saw the string 🙂 Can't wait to see what else you have in store!
