First I placed the HeatnBond bumpy side down onto the back side of my fabric.

Then very briefly ran my hot iron over the heart. You could use pressing paper if you are worried about the delicacy of your fabric.

Once I was sure the heart was adhered, I cut out the heart shape, following the printed pattern. Then I carefully removed the paper backing, leaving the glue onto the back of my fabric.
