7 Tips to Make the Most of Your Floral Arrangements

It’s FARMHOUSE FRIDAY!!

Woot woot!!

Once a month I join forces with some friends of mine and we share ways to put a little farmhouse into your home.  (Be sure to make it to the end of this post to see what my friends are sharing).

Farmhouse Friday

Today we are talking about farmhouse florals, specifically.

However, I am going to be 100% honest with you right now.

I don’t usually decorate with fresh flowers.  Sigh.

The reason being – I have a hard time justifying using our grocery money to buy fresh flowers, aaaaaaand – I super stink at growing fresh flowers.

But I decided to jump feet first into this challenge and see how I could add some fresh flowers to my home decor and do it as inexpensively as I could.  I’m so excited to share my discoveries with you!

7 Ways to make the most of your floral arrangements. Bring fresh flowers into your home and learn how to make the most impact with little investment.

I took about $30.00 and bought myself a variety of floral arrangements from Walmart and Trader Joes.  What I discovered is that you can break up those pre-arranged floral bouquets, maximize their impact and make the most of your floral arrangements.

I also discovered how much I enjoy fresh flowers around my house (especially in the dead of winter), and I want you to enjoy them too!

Follow my 7 tips to make the most of your floral arrangements!

Tip #1:  The Power of Thirds

7 Ways to make the most of your floral arrangements. Bring fresh flowers into your home and learn how to make the most impact with little investment.

The rule of thirds applies to flowers as well!

Pull 3 of the same flowers and group them in 3 of the same vases, and you’ll have 3 times the charm.

If you’ve bought a bouquet, just remove 3 flowers that are the same and try this method.

I like your idea to use 3 flowers in 3 vases as part of a design. Maybe you could even find a florist to make an arrangement based on threes if you’re decorating for something special. Three is an important number in design because it’s easy for our eyes to interpret organizations of threes.

Really, I have liked your 7 Tips. Because, I had a plan for floral arrangements but that is not liked to my wife. But my wife saw me your arrangement which is better to my plan. Then I change my decision.

Cami, those pink daisies are gorgeous! Love how you have them displayed in the big glass jugs. BTW, I always shop the clearance flowers at my grocery store ($1 a bunch), so I don’t feel bad about spending money on flowers 🙂 Otherwise I’d probably be flowerless around here!
