I’ve been racking my brain to find a way to make Christmas really meaningful this year for my kiddos.  My mom always found a way to infuse this season with the true meaning of Christmas in our lives, and I’ve always hoped to do the same for my children.

A Christ Centered Christmas Countdown

So when my dear friend Mandi asked me if I would share her “25 Days of Christ” Christmas countdown which she produces, I was more than thrilled to do so!

My little ones helped me set it up for some pictures for you, but we are all so excited to start our Christ centered Christmas countdown come December 1st.

Mandi runs a local company called “Sliverz” with her family, where they cut the wood and provide the materials for the projects – and they leave the creating fun to us!  I’ve enjoyed several home parties where Sliverz brings the crafts and I get to chat the night away with friends.

I’m excited to share that Mandi is ready and willing to ship these kits to your home for you to create and enjoy!

This particular craft kit includes 25 pre-cut and pre-dyed red square plastic pieces.  Also included is all the vinyl shapes you will need to adhere to your 25 cut pieces.

You’ll follow along with the “25 Days of Christ” booklet, where they include:

  • Scriptural reference to Christ’s birth and ministry here on earth.
  • Gospel Art Picture
  • Link to a short online video related to each topic
  • Commentary to discuss and ponder

Mandi has really thought this through, and has provided 2 separate versions of this countdown.

You can purchase a version for non denominational or all Christian based faiths, with all scriptural references from the Bible.

Or there is a version for “The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints” aka – “Mormon” faith, with some Book of Mormon references.

While my kiddos were in school, I inserted the countdown pieces into our countdown bags, each with an image of Christ (which I found at Deseret Book) and a small treat for each child on each day.

Then we plan to hang the ornament and picture on our tree to admire all the month long.

This time of year can get so busy, and I am so grateful to have something to look forward to each night to refocus our minds and hearts on what really matters.
