I wanted to pop in quick to announce the winner of the Saphyr Pure Linen giveaway and recap some of the Spring home tours that I saw this last week and participated in.
It’s been a while since I featured some other blogs on TIDBITS, but I was so very impressed with the inspiring work from so many of my blogger friends, I wanted to take a minute to share a bit more.
I know firsthand how much heart goes into these spaces and how desperately these lovely ladies hope to inspire others and share ideas. I carefully went through and picked my favorite images from their tours and am excited to share them here.
GIVEAWAY WINNER
But first . . . the winner of two 100% Pure French Linen pillowcases of their choice from Saphyr Pure Linen is . . .
Marla!
When I asked my entry question on me on my Spring Bedroom Refresh, “What do you like to splurge on”, here is what Marla said.
“Cami,
You inspire me so much!! Something about this post speaks to my heart–I like to splurge on others, and really ‘make-do’ for myself. I have drop cloth fashions all over my house, and wonderful quilts and duvet covers from Goodwill. I’ve never thought about buying linen sheets but seeing the peaceful colors available from saphyr, I think I need to take the plunge and treat myself. Thanks for treating us lurkers/stalkers to your wonderful home!!”
I am beyond excited that she won and we get to treat her to linen, as she so obviously gives to others graciously.
Congrats Marla!
I’ll be in touch soon!
I encourage you to sit back, relax, and take a close look at the following spaces. If you find some images that pique your interest and connect with your style, click on over to their blogs and get to know them more! I adore every one of these gals!
LIVING ROOMS
I enjoy swapping things out in my living room each Season, and these gals have some beautiful ideas!
I love the cow in Jeniffer’s country home (obviously), but also love the addition of blues and florals in this cozy nook. See more at Town and Country Living.
Sweeter than sugar, Rachel from Maison De Pax, flipped her books around to bring in more greens and blues and displayed a family treasure on her shelves. Her home is always gorgeous!
Laura’s living room is always a jaw-dropper. Oh to have those high ceilings! I love the pink, blue and green color palate at Duke Manor Farm this Season.
Jennifer of Decor Gold Designs knows how to do glam and pink, all day long! I’ve pinned so many of her images to my Dream Home Pinterest board!
I’m falling head over heels in love with everything Tammy Damore does. I love the French accents in this image and the gentle touch of florals for Spring.
Kelly Elko’s mix of black and white with dramatic bold textures and color is spot on! Her eclectic style is always so fun!
Shabbyfufu how do I love thee . . . let me count the ways. Janet’s work pulls me out of creative slumps, time and time again. The pink, green, blue, and white is perfect for Spring!
These DIY wall hangings from Hayley at A House with Books are so unique and creative!
Rachel from The Porch Light Cottage may have just inspired me to stick with white and greenery for Summer. It’s so refreshingly simple and stunning at the same time!
And Marci from Lemons to Lovelys may have convinced me I need more gold in my life. I never would have thought to pair gold accents with greenery, but she makes it look so good.
Now onto some dining rooms, for more Spring inspiration.
DINING ROOMS
Be sure to follow April from House by Hoff on Instagram. Her stories are hilarious and her tablescapes are gorgeous!
Brace yourself for this one. This is what the California yard of Happy Happy Nester looks like, and I just about packed my bags to move! I’m just getting to know Janine and I think she might be one of the kindest souls I’ve ever met. It shows in her work, don’t you think??
Norma from Paint me Pink keeps talking about Spring in Japan, and I love seeing her new surroundings take place in her beautiful decor.
Lucy, Lucy, Lucy. Only you would paint with frosting so elegantly. Mine would look closer to a 3-year-olds craft project. Don’t miss a beat from Craftberry Bush.
Be careful getting to know Lory from Designthusiasm. She’ll forever hook you with her French Country style and immaculate tablescapes!
Amanda’s use of copper in her Spring decor surprised me. I usually stick that with Fall, but you’ll see on Sincerely, Marie Designs that it works brilliantly with greens. There are so many textures and tones coming together in this image and it’s making me rethink my little world.
Kim has an eye for picking out gorgeous dinnerware and linens . . . actually . . . she has an eye for everything! Love Kim Power Style!
Moving into the heart of the home . . . kitchens.
KITCHENS
In case you missed it, I shared my Spring kitchen refresh recently, which included paint and a good scrub down. Feel free to peek at the details.
White tulips, in threes, in a windowsill. Perfection. Absolute perfection. Love it Krista from The Happy Housie!! Is that still snow??? Ya, me too.
I’ve decided the best word to describe Annie from Zevy Joy is “Angelic”. She is an absolute delight and her lovely home always measures up to her. She also used a pink and green color combo.
I always love seeing how Alicia from A Burst of Beautiful does up this cozy nook in her kitchen. Love the new artwork and chalkboard!
Diane . . . now I need to go buy some more white pitchers. Love what you’ve done with your open shelves on In My Own Style.
Lisa’s post will make you feel like you’ve stepped right into a Farmhouse. I adore everything about this girl and her inspired casual way of life. Go spend hours at Farmhouse on Boone.
Worth every second.
So that’s what that plant is supposed to look like before it shrivels up and dies on my countertop. Hmmm. My dream coastal house from Sand & Sisal.
Karianne from Thistlewood Farms needs no introduction (because I know you already love her!), but this sweet image and her other shots full of light made me realize I overthink things way too much. This simplicity speaks to me!
Let’s wrap things up with Entryways and porches. If we could all greet our guests with all this beauty . . .
Entry’s and Porches
The creative couple at Vinyet etc. has the most intriguing home! All these warm and worn textures in their entry are so welcoming!
Rachel from Shades of Blue Interiors made a fun GIF to show her process of decorating her entry. I’m still on the lookout for the perfect pew so I can copy her! I adore this scene!
Meet my friend Taryn Whiteaker and then just try not to adore her! She mixes industrial and Farmhouse like nobody’s business.
Sweet Beth from Unskinny Boppy has the green thumb I’ve only ever dreamed about. Can you believe her porch already looks like this!!
Not even kidding. I’ve wanted a porch where I could paint the ceiling blue my whole life! Thank you Lauren from Blesser House for doing it for me. Now I can wait just a bit longer for the dream porch.
Deb is moving soon, but that hasn’t stopped her from making her home adorable in every corner. Seeking Lavender Lane is Farmhouse perfection!
Last, but not least, is Bre from Rooms for Rent. I can’t wait for the snow to melt so I can clip from outside and place the branches right at my entry. What a lovely idea!
I truly hope you’ve been inspired today as we’ve taken a closer look at all these Spring homes and ideas. Did you see a favorite? I’d love to know!

Thank you Cami for sharing the 34 great ideas for spring decoration. I love this article and given ideas in it.
I don’t have the “banners” you complain about, June ~ but even so, if you dislike what you see, I’d suggest you just don’t look. Complaints are unnecessary … and I would bet Cami is not placing those banners anyway.
I really appreciate her time to comment on each of these Bloggers’ submissions for this Spring “tour group” … I’ve seen them several times on a few Blogs I follow, but so far (just among those I’ve seen) she is the first to include such great observations! No wonder many of us love her sweetness, and her generosity, and follow her Blog!
Oh Kathleen. Thank you for your support and encouragement! It lifted my spirits immensely! I’m not sure about the banners she was experiencing, because I don’t place ads over my images. But I’m looking into it to be sure! Thank you!!
These were some wonderful ideas and thanks for the review so, i could ohh and ahh again. There are some very talented ladies.
Glad you enjoyed Marlene! So many talented ladies! I was so inspired too!
Congratulations Marla! So very happy for you!
I’m so excited for Marla! She is so grateful! Thanks again for visiting Karen and your support!
Hi, I loved your ideas today I think?, what I could see of them, there was a big banner across the middle of each room it was very distracting.
I know you want me to pin or share your ideas but it left me feeling like you sort of wanted me to see your ideas but were mostly interested in advertising your blog? You are not the only blogger doing this. But your the one that pushed me to far.
I understand it’s about the money but it’s to much and i now have 1 memory of your blog a big frustrating banner 🙂 there’s got to be a better way!
This comment is my banner 🙂
all you have to do is click the x and close the banner. No need to be so dramatic
June, I’m so sorry you’ve experienced a bad visit on my site. That is certainly not my intentions and I’m not certain which banner you speak of either. I’ve tried to bring up the same results you speak of, but can’t duplicate it. I’m going to contact my ad company and inquire on what may have been causing this for you. I do not place ads on my images because I feel it is very intrusive. Even though bloggers earn 20% more with ads on images themselves, I just refuse. I do have sidebar ads, and a lower banner ad which you can easily x out and it does not run anywhere but the bottom of the screen. So again, I’m not totally sure what banner ads you experienced, but I’ll look into it. Thanks for notifying me of your concerns. I hope you’ll come again and have a better experience!
I think what she is referring to is the little box that comes up where you can sign up to get emails for your blog. Not really a banner
HI Cami,
That was such a treat! I’m sitting with 3 feet of new fallen snow in my yard. Spring seems so far away. But I can dream…….:) Thanks for putting that all together. I, too, am thinking of green and white for the summer….with touches of pink, of course!
Thanks for the sweet comment Suzanne! We still have snow too, but seeing the refreshing images does help, doesn’t it! And green, white, touch of pink . . . it shows up no matter all my resisting efforts 😉
