Imagine you were to step through my doors and ask for a home tour.
While you would likely see more unfinished spaces than finished ones, I’d also feel obliged to share with you some of my favorite things. Items that I rely on day to day.
This tour will either inspire you to go home and start your wish list or leave you entertained at the least.
That’s what I aim to do today! Bonus points if I help you narrow down the perfect gift for that special someone.
*If you are interested in shopping ALL THE THINGS in my home, I’ve created this resource page for you.
TIDBITS Favorite Things 2020
Not to be too obvious, but let’s start out with my absolute favorites, because I have poured my heart into creating them for you!
TIDBITS Planners
Did you know I created planning products? I sure do, and I have worked all year long to make sure 2021 TIDBITS Planners was the best yet! So many wonderful products to help you manage your days – simply and beautifully.
You can shop all my TIDBITS Planners site here or I also have them all listed on Etsy.
TIDBITS Linen
A brand new venture with my sister-in-law has resulted in something I am thrilled to grow and develop for you. TIDBITS Linen is the beginning of our shop full of lovely pure linen products for your home.
This is a long time dream of mine, and I can’t wait to see what will become of it. I want you all to fall in love with linen like I have! That glorious, nubby natural fiber will steal your heart!
Instant Pot
My sister Marci had an obsession with the Instant Pot (and healthy food), which led to the creation of a new food branch of TIDBITS a few years back. It also led to my own obsession with all things Instant Pot, and now I can’t imagine my kitchen without one (or 2, or 3). I consulted my sister to see which was the best Instant Pot on the market these day, and she is swearing by the Instant Pot Duo Evo. Watch the Black Friday deals! They are so good!
Master the Electric Pressure Cooker Cookbook
Shameless plug . . . we created an Instant Pot cookbook together! I still cook from it weekly! You might prefer the digital ecookbook version here.
Berkey Water Filter
My beloved Berkey. To have one is to love one.
This water filtration system has been with us for 3 years and saved us from less desirable water on many occasions. We fill our Berkey daily and enjoy the fresh, filtered water! It makes it taste sooo good!
Their Black Friday deals are incredible and save you up to 30%!
I always recommend you go as big as your space will allow. We have the Big Berkey, but I have my eyes on the Imperial Berkey.
I love that we have gotten quite accustomed to room temperature drinking water, which is proven to be much better for you.
I don’t regret buying this beauty one bit! Worth every penny!
Almond Cow
Just when I thought I didn’t need another kitchen gadget, I discovered the Almond Cow. I love the fresh tasting almond and nut milks it makes in seconds, and I use it all the time for low calorie smoothies, warm drinks, and more!
The nut pulp makes amazing granola too! The Almond Cow is right up there with my Instant Pot and Berkey!
Almond Cow RARELY runs any sales, so be sure to buy one for Black Friday while they are discounted. You can always use the code “TIDBITS” for a small discount.
Beddy’s Beds
Since living in our RV, my kids have been begging for Beddy’s Beds in their new rooms when it is time to finish them.
Beddy’s always has great Black Friday deals, so I thought I would bring them up here in case you are in the market for some amazing kid-friendly bedding.
You can always use the code “TIDBITS20” to save 20% off your Beddy’s purchase.
Rocky Mountain Oils
My love for essential oils runs deep, but with so many companies to choose from, I needed to find a favorite.
Rocky Mountain Oils is it! They have the best daily deals, awesome reward freebies, and pure tested oils! (Bonus: it is NOT an MLM company so prices are right where they should be). I’m hooked on their skin care line, Tohi, and love their supplements as well.
I am constantly applying their oils and diffusing them around our home, and I love it!
Olive and Linen
My obsession with linens of all kinds has led me to Olive & Linen. A sweet business, with the most beautiful towels, throws, robes and more! I adore these ones I picked for our bathroom.
Function of Beauty
I noticed a sensitivity to most hair products with myself and my daughter. I decided to try Function of Beauty, since some of their products were naturally scented and customizable.
I have been hooked for 2 years! Love the natural Eucalyptus and Lavender scents and I opt to create them without any colorants.
Kiwi Co.
As a now homeschool mom, I’m looking for gifts to entertain and educate my kiddos at the same time. I’m leaning on the old standby, and a long time favorite – Kiwi Co. subscription boxes for all ages!
Grove Collaborative
I couldn’t possibly list all the products I subscribe to and buy on a monthly basis from Grove Collaborative – so I’ll just link you directly to the main site to shop around! I order most of my cleaning products and body products from them and love everything this company stands for.
Tea Kettle
I have a recent obsession for herbal tea. It is my daily exhale. This whistling kettle is my absolute favorite! Pretty and so functional.
Favorite Herbal Tea’s
To go with the kettle, here are some of my favorite herbal tea products and shops to buy from.
I love the variety at World Market and stock up when I go there.
Harbor Herbalist is a small business I love to support and you can truly taste the freshness of her tea products.
Grove Collaborative has my favorite peppermint variety.
This Pukka brand has so many delightful varieties.
Crio Bru
Along the same exhale, I delight in my healthy chocolate indulgence – Crio Bru! You have to read how to brew it in the Instant Pot, for the most flavorful chocolaty drink you can possibly imagine. My sister is a genius! USE THE CODE “CAMI10OFF” TO SAVE ON YOUR PURCHASE.
A-Ben-a-Qui
My cleaning super power – A-ben-a-qui. This paste will clean and brighten ANYTHING! It is utterly amazing.
Linen Sheets
Once you know, you know. There is nothing in this world better to sleep in than linen sheets. Pure, 100% linen sheets. I’m loving this sweet Etsy shop full of linen bedding. Maybe I’ll get there some day!
Frame TV
The topic of discussion for all my guests always leads to the Frame TV! I bought it this year, and have loved every second of it, on or off! Actually, I much prefer it off to enjoy all my downloaded art!
Ivory Dishes
I hope World Market doesn’t ever stop selling these beautiful Ivory dishes. I love the bumpy matte finish and perfect neutral style. They feel so good in my hand and look so lovely on my shelves!
Deebot
My Christmas gift from the hubs last year has been my little champion! This more affordable robot vacuum will be your saving grace!
Singer Sewing Machine
I’m smitten with my new sewing machine this year! It has worked hard for me on curtains, pillows, clothes and other linen projects! If you need a new hobby or machine – you can’t go wrong with the Quantum Stylist!
The Perfect Pot Luck Bowl
If you are lucky enough to gather with your loved ones, you’ll want this lovely glass bowl with a lid. It’s perfect for sourdough too! In fact, I just convinced myself I need another. (wink).
I hope you enjoyed walking through my home and discovering so many of my favorite things! Please let me know in the comments below what are some of your favorite things!
Happy shopping!
This article got me thinking about all the new things and useful items I discovered in 2020.
Almond milk is one of them. It’s a love of mine. I also bought a new set of dishes in nice azure-gold colors and new curtains for the house. Online shopping has definitely helped me make my home cozier.
Perhaps in 2021, it’s worth continuing this. I’ve wanted linen sheets for a long time. I will definitely make that purchase following your recommendation!
