First things first, we are sharing some must snag Black Friday and Cyber Monday pressure cooking deals you won’t want to miss!
If you’ve been holding out for an electric pressure cooker, now is the time my friends.
Instant Pot has shared with us their A-MAZ-ING deal on the Instant Pot Duo60 7 in 1 Multi-use programmable pressure cooker, 6 quart. This Black Friday deal has been extended to Cyber Monday with no limit on purchase amounts!
This is the Instant Pot Marci and I have, with our favorite yogurt function that we couldn’t live without.
GET IT NOW! Seriously, at the price of 68.95!!, this deal can’t be beat.
Our friends at Fagor America, Inc. are also having a sale on the their whole online store! This is the perfect time to get a Fagor Lux Multi-cooker, an electric pressure cooker we love and value. For a super user friendly electric pressure cooker from Fagor, head over now and get 30% off + Free Shipping! This is a smokin’ deal! And you’ll need to grab it fast because it is only available from Thanksgiving Day to Cyber Monday (November 24th-28th). Use the promo code “30forU“.
After promoting 2 different pots, I have a feeling you might all be thinking . . . so which one is your favorite? Marci and I get that question a lot.
We always respond with the answer, “We love them both. So if you can – GET BOTH”! Meat in one, potatoes in the other. Yogurt making in one, while you use the other to make dessert. You’ll totally understand the need once you are hooked on pressure cooking.
Now I know that isn’t realistic for everyone, so work through your priorities and weigh our thoughts on the matter – for what they are worth.
If color matters to you, The Fagor Lux will give you more options. Fagor is like a well oiled, easy to understand machine. It works wonderfully and is very intuitive. Though not a guarantee, it seems when we’ve started them together, The Fagor Lux comes up to pressure faster. This multi-cooker makes yogurt as well, though we do experience a film at the bottom of the pot. But the non-stick pot makes it an easy clean up. It has a pre-set time of 6 hours, meaning you can program it to start while you are away from it, up to 6 hours before.
The Instant Pot is super popular, and once you purchase you can gain access to their very helpful Facebook community of pressure cooking enthusiasts. A perk with the Instant Pot is the ability to pre-set your start time up to 24 hours. Yogurt making works like a dream every time, and the price (especially today) is pretty incredible. The pot is stainless steal.
Both pots will make rice and other hard to cook grains, risotto, steam, saute, keep warm, pressure cook and slow cook.
All that being said, we always tell our friends that you can’t go wrong with either one of them.
I hope that helps in some way for your shopping needs.
Now for the deal we are really excited to offer you! TODAY ONLY we are discounting our Master the Electric Pressure Cooker Cookbook to only $10.00!!
No promo code needed, but I won’t be keeping it at this price past midnight tonight (EST).
If you’ve been on the fence about it, this is a crazy affordable price to check out the recipes you could potentially make, and join our Facebook group to see what people are saying about how pressure cooking is benefiting their lives.

I’ll turn the details of this recipe over to my sister Marci!
Now, for this luscious cup of Peppermint Crio Bru. Whether you’re new to Crio Bru or you’ve been a fan for years like me, this Peppermint flavor is one to stock up on!
This healthier version of peppermint hot chocolate is absolutely dreamy and will instantly put you in a good mood. Nothin’ like a hot cup of Crio in a dark pantry to make all the stress of spilled milk, diapers flushed down the toilet, dumped folded laundry, etc all slip away into a giant peppermint cloud. That chocolate aroma makes it all okay, am I right? If you’ve tried Crio Bru, you’re passionately nodding your head right now. If you haven’t tried it, you’ve already clicked to a new screen to order it 🙂 Lucky for us, they stock on Amazon as well.
As you well know by now, I like to see what my magical electric pressure cooker can do to just about any food. Brewing my Crio Bru in it turned out to be one of the best decisions ever (unlike the hot dog incident, but we won’t go there). It takes minutes to brew and can feed a crowd or be bottled up and stored in the fridge for every time you need a quick and delicious boost to your day. Enjoy!
- ½ cup Crio Bru Ground Cocoa Beans, peppermint flavor
- 6 cups water
- 2 cups milk (I use unsweetened vanilla almond milk)
- ⅓-½ cup light agave
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1-2 teaspoon peppermint extract
- Peppermint Whipped Cream
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- Add Crio Bru, water, milk, agave, vanilla, and peppermint extract to the pressure cooker pot. Secure the lid and turn pressure release knob to a sealed position. Cook at high pressure for 5 minutes.
- While Crio Bru is brewing, whip all of the whipped cream ingredients with a high speed blender or hand mixer until thick. Store in the fridge until ready to use.
- When cooking is complete, use a natural pressure release for 10 minutes and then release any remaining pressure.
- Place a fine mesh sieve over a bowl and pour Crio Bru through the sieve to filter out the grounds (this also works well in a nut milk bag).
- Serve immediately with a dollop of peppermint whipped cream. Can also be stored in the refrigerator in a mason jar. Enjoy cold or pour into a microwave safe mug and warm for 1-2 minutes.
