Our Old Fashioned Christmas Porch Decorations

I spruced up our porch for the Christmas season using fresh garland, pine wreaths and other natural elements for a traditional, old fashioned Christmas porch.

Although, our porch is still a wee bit unfinished, I can’t help myself when it comes to decorating the gorgeous long porch, with stunning double dutch French doors.

I’ve got big plans this Spring when it comes to finishing our porch, but in the meantime, I can still enjoy highlighting the beautiful features for the Holidays.

Like the doors, of course! I simply added some fresh cedar garland from Lynch Creek Farms and draped it around the doors.

I soaked all our garland in the tub for 72 hours before hanging it all over the house.

I grabbed 2 fresh pine wreaths from Home Depot, and opted to cut off all the fake berries, pinecones and wired bows.

I simply hung a sweet little linen ribbon bow in the color Black Cherry, from my TIDBITS Linen shop.

What I really like is that using fresh and so little else means I don’t have to store hardly anything!

I think I could get used to this, and get rid of all the excess bins and bins of Christmas stuff hogging up our precious storage space.
