We recently got a new coffee table for our living room! It was a piece I took a nice long time looking for because I wanted one that fit the vision for my European Organic Farmhouse living room space.
Because the room is so boxy, I wanted to bring in some curves with a round table. I also wanted to bring in some nice wood tones, with lovely organic textures.
THE COFFEE TABLE OF INSPIRATION
This first idea is a coffee table that invites you to pull up a seat, wind down and pick up an inspiring book.
This is my absolute favorite way to relax! Pulling off this look is simple, especially if you are already a book lover and have a well curated home library.
Sometimes, simple is best. A round table creates the perfect opportunity to keep it simple with a single centerpiece.
THE COFFEE TABLE OF SIMPLICITY
In this case, I gathered one of my favorite vintage vases, and had fun foraging the outdoors for some clippings.
If you want to decorate with several items on a round table, it’s best to think in 3rds, or create a staggered triangle with your items.
THE COFFEE TABLE OF THIRDS
I had fun pulling some collected vases from my shelves and arranging them in the center of the round coffee table.
