NATURE AND EARTHY-INSPIRED KIDS’ BEDROOM DESIGN WITH PLAY LOFT

I’m excited to share our newest home project with you! After over a year of living in our unfinished pole barn home we built and designed ourselves, we are finally getting to the kids’ bedroom.

The room is considerably long for a bedroom so the play loft platform will run vertically through most of the room.

When you view these pictures, just remember . . . things always get worse before they get better!

Hubs has built the loft floor, the walls and has sheet-rocked and mudded the new walls. He cut out windows in these walls and added a cubby space. Learn more

We have installed some pine shiplap planks to the back of the bed areas and on the ceiling.

I think this will add the perfect amount of natural wood texture to these cute little spaces.

We picked up some inexpensive flooring, and my husband has already installed it in the loft area above.
