A non-candy class Valentines idea for the little boy and girl pirates. Save on the sugar rush and give your classmates a real treasure!
I find great joy in coming up with cheesy sayings to accompany a non-candy class Valentines for our kiddos.
I know sugar is all the rage among little ones, but why not give them something that will last. A little treasure . . . if you will.
When I ran into these darling pirate treasure gold doubloons I knew they would be fun for boys and girls!
Then I went to work creating a printable to go with it!
SUPPLIES FOR “YOU ARE A TREASURE VALENTINE” CLASS VALENTINES
- Brown craft paper for printable (or any paper, but the brown makes it feel a bit more “pirate-y”.
- Small burlap or muslin bags (these are the ones I used, but there are several options!)
- Gold Doubloons (These ones I got are absolutely darling)

I hope you enjoyed this fun non-candy class Valentines idea. I know from experience that not all children handle so much sugar very well, and most parents are extremely grateful to have their children consume less sugar treats on Holidays.
A non-candy option can be unforgettable, especially when there is treasure involved (wink).

I really wish I hadn’t been so lonely this Valentine. I split up with my girlfriend and I as staring at the celing all night long. That was a nightmare experience.
