Tour my living room decked for the Holidays with colorful pastels, magical lights, snow and glitter! I hope you find inspiration in my Colorful Christmas Home Tour.
I’ve been giving you sneak peaks of my Colorful Christmas, now it’s time to share the whole thing with you! First take a gander at our main room, the living room – where most all the Christmas magic happens (so I made sure it was really magical). Then I will direct you at the end of the post to see my girls Colorful Christmas bedroom, and my Master Bedroom (if you haven’t already seen it).
If you are jumping in from the annual Jennifer Rizzo Holiday Housewalk, I welcome you! This week long tour has inspired me for years, and taking part in it for the 3rd time is like a dream come true. The stop before me today was Nesting With Grace. Brooke is just about as sweet as they come, and her home is bursting with character! Be sure you don’t miss it.
If you are a first timer here, let me introduce myself and my little clan.
In a nutshell, my name is Cami, I’ve been blogging at TIDBITS for over 6 years, and my husband Kevin (often referred to here as Mr. TIDBITS) and I have 4 beautiful kiddos. I love having a job that enables me to stay home with them, as busy as it may be at times. My sister Marci just recently joined me on a branch of TIDBITS, where she shares food and recipes revolving around the “Instant Pot” or electric pressure cooker. Together we published the book “Master the Electric Pressure Cooker“.
Alright! Enough chit chat!
I do love to talk around here, but today is all about pictures. So I’m going to resist temptation to chime in too often and let you look at my home for the Holidays. I’ll share some sources throughout but otherwise, I’ll let you cruise as fast or as slow as you wish.

My theme this year was completely out of my comfort zone, as I tend to lean towards natural elements and lots of white. But I had a blast creating a magical home for my children and one full of color in the pastel variety. If you’d like, read more about my choice of Christmas theme, HERE.
Enjoy! And thank you from the bottom of my heart for being here today.
Glitter putz houses were .50 cents from a thrift store. They were your not-so-pretty-dime-a-dozen variety, so I painted and glittered them. Tutorial coming soon!

Where did you find those adorable pastel little snowy houses????
Cami, your home is stunning! I think “magical” is the best way to describe it all!!
Thanks a good word for it! Thanks again!
Your home looks magical, Tami! Your kiddos must be in heaven with all of those twinkly lights. Love, love, love it all!
Cami ~ What lovely – delicious – Christmas decor!! You’ve turned your home into a ‘Winter Wonderland”!! Everything is so delightful, and I love the stockings you made!!
Oh so beautiful and your blog with all the different ways to decorate a tree and the tips and tricks are awesome so falling for the plaid
Yes! It’s time to decorate! I’ve always wanted an all White Christmas, but I know my family would miss some color. This was a happy medium for us 😉
This tour instantly made me smile! What a fun color scheme for Christmas!!
Well what a sweet comment! Thank you, and smile away 😉
Cami, I love the beautiful and bright pastels! It’s so pretty! Thank you so much for being a part of the housewalk!
Thank you Jen! Always such an honor. I feel so grateful to be included!
The tree is breathtaking! I’m all about the blush. All so fabulous!!
It’s been a fun change this year. The white tree stole my heart 😉
This is pretty magical, I am sure your girls just go crazy over it all! And I didn’t know you are married to a Kevin too! same! Anyways Merry Christmas!
Kevin’s make super great husbands 😉 . Thanks for your sweet comment Brooke!
Everything is so beautiful, love the soft colors throughout! Not sure I could ever get away with it with 3 boys but I can live vicariously through you!!! Merry Christmas!
Haha! Yes, please live vicariously. I do think I’m going to have to change things up a bit. My hubs is very tolerant and lets me do my thing, but my 3 year old son has quite an opinion. He saw a pic of a red and green tree in a magazine and said, “no white tree mom. I want this one.” Oh dear!
I love all the soft pastels,Santa’s and houses, so dreamy and lovely.
Thank you so much! It’s been pretty magical!
This is so child-like and fun! I kept expecting a pic’ of one of your kids in a pastel sweater eating cotton candy. Lol. I, especially loved all the pink pillows, lights, and garlands. A creative take on holiday decorating! ???
Now why didn’t I think of that 😉 . Actually, I bought them pastel long Johns to wear on Christmas eve, and you can bet I’m busting my camera out! Thanks for coming by!
That tree is magical! Had to come over and see the rest. 🙂
So glad you did! It’s been such a fun tree to have! Thank you!
Wow Cami – I love every little detail from the .50 putz houses to the pink garland to that stunning mantel! Merry Christmas
Thank you Kelly! Your tour was a stunner. It felt so nostalgic. Fun touring with you again this year!
