I think if I could add up all the time I’ve spent in the past searching blogs, I might be ashamed of myself. That time could possibly have been used to clean my house, play with my kids, make a yummy dinner, read a book, serve someone, create something pretty, or many other things. Instead of doing things which might have seemed more productive, I have spent countless hours looking at what other people have made. How easy it is to waist time!

I’ve often thought about doing my own craft blog, but continued to think about what a waist of time it would be. Rather than spend time on my own blog, I could just spend that time looking at others blogs. Or maybe I could spend that time making something on my “want to do” list, instead of increasing that list.

Nevertheless, here I am. Attempting to create my own blog to show off and record things I’ve made. Yes, it may be a complete waist of my time. Perhaps nothing will ever come of it. Perhaps I will be the only one that benefits from it. Then again, perhaps not. I suppose time will tell if this blogging craze I’m joining will or will not be a complete waist of my precious time.

And now, I introduce, Creating by Cami: Doin’ what I love – Lovin’ what I do.
In hopes to inspire creative minds out there (including myself) to create things to express themselves and share with the world and their families.
Great minds may think alike. But creative minds think nothing alike.

  1. I could have written this blog post myself. Here is my opinion on the subject. Sometimes as mothers we need to do things to keep us from going crazy! The blogging/crafting thing is our way to cope with how stressful it is to be a mommy! So with that being said, it's not a waste of time and other people can benefit from your craftiness. : )
