I’m looking back and checking out what my readers loved from the last year! These are the Top 10 TIDBITS of 2018, specifically posts written in the 2018 and in regards to pageviews.
I can’t ever seem to move on to goal making until I have sufficiently looked back and reflected on the past year. Part of this requires one of my favorite posts of the year . . . The Top 10 TIDBITS of 2018!
This is a fun annual event I organize with some of my all time favorite Home and DIY bloggers. You’ll find links to all their top 10 posts at the end. I feel like this collaboration is great for so many reasons.

Now let’s get straight to the point with the most viewed post on TIDBITS this year . . .
It appears we are all in desperate measures to get control of our garage! These garage storage cabinets made an epic difference in our lives. It was something fun and functional we could do even in our rental home, and I’m so glad we can take them with us to our new home! Having an organized garage is EVERYTHING!
I always find it fascinating when a post I did at the end of the year makes it to the top 10! That’s when I give myself a high five and say “nailed it!”
Pageviews aside, if I was just looking for the post that brought about the most conversation, open shelving was the topic of the year! If you didn’t read the great debate, it is a good one!
Now this beautifully and so wonderfully functional project would have probably hit #1 on my preferred list. It’s a game saver for efficient baking, but I really loved it when it came time to move. It easily boxed up, and easily set up in our rental home – further convincing me of the magic of an organized home.
This was a shocker! The post I told myself wasn’t worth posting and ya’ll loved it! Christmas in our rental was done on a dime and floored me when I saw it as my 5th most popular post! And only up for 1 month! Thank you my loyal readers for loving and accepting me through it all!
Hands down Mr. TIDBITS favorite project of all time, not just in 2018! We all feel more relieved knowing where all those tools are at!
I wasn’t sure how my audience would feel about sharing my love of essential oils. I’m so relieved to see this post do okay! A more toxic free home environment is something that burns deep in my soul, and I’d love to share more of it!
This post was in part of the infamous Holiday Housewalk, and has always hit my top 10 when I participate. It is such an inspiring event to virtually walk through all these beautiful homes during the Christmas season.
The last home tour I did in our old home was the Spring home tour. It was like my final goodbye to our beloved home and I was so happy to see others were inspired by it as well.
10 – GOODBYE HOME
I’m always a little hesitant to get too personal on my blog, but you all are the best! I was flooded with support and love on this post where we said goodbye to our home, and it lifted me at a time when I needed it most!
11 – PURE LINEN SHEETS
Wait? I said top 10, right? Well . . . I saw number 11 in my analytics and had to share. If you haven’t caught on, I’m a bit obsessed with pure linen, and photographing this bedding was a dream for me! If you love linen too, check out my linen shop! More products are in the works!
I would love to hear if you saw a favorite TIDBITS on this list, or if I missed one of your favorites!
I would love it even more if you would let me know in the comments below what you hope to see more of from me in 2019. Things are going to look a bit different but will always involve lots of DIY that I love to share! Your input is a treasure for me!
