The Season’s list for the best Christmas movies on Netflix!  Clean, a bit cheesy, and totally predictable . . . just like they should be!  Curl up under a cozy blanket and enjoy!

It is time for this years Christmas movie list, and I couldn’t be more excited!  I take my job of watching through Netflix Christmas movies very seriously, and have even put up with the ones that are absolutely too cheesy to bear, and left you with the best!  Netflix has added some great originals this year, and left some of the best from years past.  I try to keep my lists focused on the uplifting and family friendly selections, but always watch at your own caution.

Be sure to PIN THIS POST and check back through the Season as I hope to add to the list as more become available.  If you are looking for even more Christmas movies to watch, I recommend checking out Amazon Prime as there selection seems to be growing.  You can also subscribe to the Hallmark Channel on Amazon to watch their wonderful Christmas movies.

I’d love to hear what you think of them after you watch, and as always, let me know in the comments below if you’ve found any gems I need to watch!

THE PRINCESS SWITCH

The Princess Switch is top on my list this year!  If you have yourself some cute little girls that dream of all things frilly and princessy, gather them on the couch next to you and delight in this wonderful show!  It’s what every girl dreams about . . . getting to play princess in real life and finding that Prince Charming.

CHRISTMAS WITH A VIEW

A sweet romantic Christmas show where love is found when least expected.  The restaurant manager and pro chef make the cutest couple!

THE CHRISTMAS CHRONICLES

The BEST family Christmas show since The Santa Clause with Tim Allen.  Every kid from age 4 – 12 was enthralled in this show and both my husband and I really enjoyed it.  2 kids get to help Santa save Christmas, and this Santa is so cool!  Absolutely must watch!

THE HOLIDAY CALENDAR

A magic calendar that can predict my day?  I’ll take 6!  A story of best friends realizing they were perfect for each other after all.  Loved it!

A CHRISTMAS PRINCE

A Christmas Prince debuted last year, but it’s another gem and little girl fantasy.  Sweet, sweet show and worth watching again.

THE CHRISTMAS CANDLE

Beautiful filming and a sentimental story based off of Max Lucado’s originals.  Charming, thoughtful and magical!  You’ll love it!

HOW SARAH GOT HER WINGS

Becoming an angel came almost too soon for Sarah . . . but love saved the day!  Fun story line and great acting.

DOGWALKERS CHRISTMAS TALE

Being forced to walk the neighbors dog was a love blessing in disguise.  Predictable, but that’s just how we like our Christmas shows!  Right?

THE SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS

I’ll watch The Spirit of Christmas over and over again just to see the old home.  But the sweet love story is worth it too!  Another good one I am glad they kept!

MERRY KISSMAS

She was dating the wrong guy all along, but Christmas brought the right one before it was too late!

CHRISTMAS IN THE SMOKIES

Great acting in this show (for a Christmas flick) and meaningful too.  A great down-home Christmas classic.

CHRISTMAS INHERITANCE

It’s always a trip to a small town that does the trick, right?  A story of the big city business girl finding humility and love in the country.

BELIEVE

Proceed with caution when watching with kids at the beginning, as there is a bit of mild violence, but I thought this story was charming and heartwarming.  Looking to serve others is really the best way out of your own troubles.

HOLIDAY BAGGAGE

Holiday Baggage is a slow going movie, but I was touched by the acts of forgiveness and repentance.  I include it because it is a good one to watch while wrapping presents or doing other things.

DEAR SANTA

This cute love story has been sticking around on Netflix, because it is a good one!  If you haven’t seen it already, give it a try!

WHITE CHRISTMAS

We just watched this with the kids again this year, and it’s an annual tradition for us.  Anyone else have to watch a White Christmas every year?  Good news, it is on Netflix!

GRINCH

Even though my 4 year old runs away when this is on (the Grinch is kinda scary), I love watching this with my girls.  I’ve watched it so many times I can quote the whole thing . . . not even kidding.  My college roommates always got a kick out of my Grinch impersonations.  Glad I can watch it on Netflix!

I’m hoping they add a few more originals before the Season is up and I’ll be sure to add them to this list!

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy watching!

  1. Loved the Christmas Chronicles! And if The Man Who Invented Christmas is out on Netflix, I highly recommend it! Going to check out these movies. Thanks for the list!

  2. One I really enjoy – ‘The Man Who Invented Christmas’ – about Charles Dickens when he was writing ‘A Christmas Carol’
