Let’s get creative with those Valentine decor ideas! I’ve gathered some of the best inspiration from around the web to help you elevate your Valentine’s Day decorating.

Tell me, friend – are you a Valentines Day decorator? Do you find it delightful or just a bit too cheesy and juvenile? Do you feel like you need to see a few good ideas to help get the creative juices flowing?
Personally, I love to see what other people have created as they decorate their homes. It’s inspiring to me! Especially when the design is subtle, a bit more mature, and less in-your-face than the traditional Valentine’s Day decor of bright, cartoonish hearts.
If you feel the same way, then you’ve come to the right place. I’m sharing some Valentine TIDBITS of my own, along with some other gorgeous inspiration from around the web that you won’t want to miss.

Valentine Decor Ideas
I’m in love (pun intended) with these darling Valentine ideas! I wish I could try them all, but maybe you can try a few for me.
In no particular order, here are 20 Valentine decor ideas meant to inspire you.
1: Rustic Valentine’s Art
It’s only fitting that we start this list of Valentine decor ideas off with a heart. I am loving this one from Simply Beautiful by Angela. The neutral tones, the texture, the simplicity – it’s gorgeous! Perfect with any decor style.

2: DIY Valentine Yarn Hearts
I made these darling DIY Valentine yarn hearts a few years ago. They look great hanging from branches, piled in a basket, or strung across the mantel. Super fun and easy to make Valentine decor ideas!

3: Valentine Branches
I can’t get enough of this simple arrangement from the Idea Room. A vase filled with heart-covered branches. All you would need is some paper and glue. This would be fantastic budget-friendly craft!

4: Valentine’s Day Doily Garland
Valentine doily garland. I hung this one on our hutch, but you could hang one on a mantel or even that Christmas tree that might still be up. No judgement here! 😉

5: Rustic Wooden Hearts
Sometimes it’s the simple things that make the best decor. Take this rustic wooden heart display from Mathilde, for example. It’s nothing fancy, but pair it with some greenery and beautiful vintage finds and you’ve got yourself a stunning display.

6: “God is Love” Valentine Printable
I’ve got this sweet “God is Love” printable available here on my website. You can choose from two different color schemes. This image is a great reminder any time of the year, but it’s especially fun to bring it out during February as part of the Valentine’s Day decor.

7: Valentine Sign and Wreath
I think this idea from Angela at Word and Home is so sweet! A darling Valentine wreath is hung over a sign featuring sheet music.
My mind is spinning with ideas of how to customize this cute craft. You could display your wreath over sheet music, sweet notes or favorite black and white photos. You could even switch that Valentine wreath out for an evergreen or floral wreath as the seasons change. Head over to her blog for the tutorial.

8: Lace Throw Blanket
Do throw blankets count as Valentine’s Day decor? Yes, yes, they do! At least they do in my world. In fact, using colored linens is a great way to add holiday color to your spaces. This gorgeous lace throw blanket from TIDBITS also incorporates great pattern and texture for a sweet touch of romance!

9: Rag Heart Wreath
This wreath, made from scraps of fabric and ribbon, is a fun way to put those craft supply leftovers to work for you. Thanks to Amber from The Yellow Brick Home for sharing this beauty!

10: Valentine Advent Calendar
My advent calendar garland is one of my favorite Valentine decor ideas. It’s festive and cute with just a touch of red accents to celebrate the season. You could even use this advent calendar as part of your Christmas decorations!

11: Heart Garland from Old Book Pages
Rachel at The Ponds Farmhouse shared this creative idea for using old book pages to make 3D hearts. This is perfect, especially if you prefer neutral Valentine’s Day decor. Head over to her blog for the instructions.

12: Valentine Button Heart
Valentine button heart keepsakes like this are easy crafts that make beautiful gifts. Hang it on your wall, above the fireplace or display it on the coffee table for a little love.

13: Decorative Pillows and Accents
Not feeling crafty, but still want to set Valentine mood? I hear you! That’s why I love this image from Guistina at Domestically Blissful. Some simple throw pillow covers in shades of pink, blush, or red can make a big impact in a bedroom or family room.

14: Hand Painted Candles
Aren’t these hand painted taper candles just the cutest thing? You gotta love easy ideas, especially when they look so good! Thanks to Country Peony for sharing this darling project.

15: Rolled Beeswax Candles
More candles? Always!
These beautiful, rolled beeswax candles are a cinch to make. I made this set in neutral shade, but you can find beeswax sheets in pink, red or whatever color you desire. They would look gorgeous in a centerpiece!

16: Valentine Book Page Wreath
A Valentine book page wreath is perfect for neutral decor. Kate from A Hundred Affections made this one. What a great way to recycle an old book!

17: Floral Arrangements as Valentine Decor
We often think of giving or receiving flowers for Valentine’s Day, but it’s nice to make them a part of your decor that can last all season. Baby’s breath and carnations are a couple of flowers that are easy to find at the grocery store. They will last for a long time as fresh flowers, or up to months when dried, and still look beautiful.
I’ve even got some tips on how rearrange grocery store flowers for a better bouquet!

18: Colorful Valentine Linens
I spied this beautiful room over at Shelterness. Those little touches of pink are easy to change out, but they pack a punch. Changing out linens is one of my favorite ways to decorate for any holiday.

19: Valentine Garlands
This image, featuring a mantel draped with layered garlands, caught my eye. Look at all that texture! This scene from Kimberly at A Wonderful Thought may be simple and neutral, but it’s anything but boring!

20: Decorating for Valentines Day with Antiques
Finally, I can’t leave off this last idea off the list! Decorate with old things, like vintage or flea market finds.
This tarnished goblet filled with flowers could not be more beautiful. Thanks to Lucy from Craftberry Bush for the inspiration!
